It is almost time for the annual children’s summer reading program. Our theme this year is “Universe of Stories” , and we will have several events held at the Memorial Building. In addition to these events, story time for young children will have an outer space theme during the reading program time period (June 10-July 20). The Memorial building events are: Friday, June 14: 3:00 p.m. FAX GILBERT (comedy and magic), Friday, June 21: 3:30 p.m.: DUKE OTHERWISE (comedy and music), Friday, June 28: 1:00 p.m.: BLANK PARK ZOO, Friday, July 12: 1:00 p.m. : JONATHAN MAY (magician). Tuesday story time programs at the library (all at 10:00 a.m.) will be: June 11: “Shoot for the Moon”, June 18: “To the Library and Beyond” (aliens), June 25: “Trekking Across Our Universe” (with stories read by Nyola Shaffer), July 2: “A Sky Full of Stories”, July 9: “Up,Up and Away”, July 16: “Aliens Love Underpants” puppet show.
